BEER: The 9:30 Club (815 V Street) teams up with Flying Dog Brewery this evening for “Festival De Cans,” a showcase of canned beer from The Brewer’s Art, Brooklyn, DC Brau, Golden Road, Half Acre, Maui, New Belgium, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, and Starr Hill. The evening will be hosted by comedian Doug Powell and “disco orchestra” Escort will perform. 8:00 p.m. $25.

BURLESQUE: The Gibson (2009 14th Street NW) is shaking up more than cocktails with the Lace and Feathers event tonight featuring the Valentine Candy Burlesque dancers. 7:00 p.m. Free.

MUSIC: Borracho brings “a heavy metal offering with ferocious basslines” to the Velvet Lounge (915 U Street NW ) tonight. Been Obscene and Super Void contribute opening sets. 9:00 p.m. $8-$10.
