D.C.’s got ticks, but it’s better than what Chicago has.

According to the pest terminators over at Orkin, D.C. ranks fifth on the list of the 10 U.S. cities with the worst pest problems. That’s a step up from what OFF! said last year, ranking D.C. as only the 18th buggiest city in the country.

For D.C., we’re apparently prone to ticks more than anything else. Chicago, on the other hand, is a magnet for rodents, spiders, bed bugs and ants; Los Angeles has to contend with cockroaches and termites; and Atlanta has plenty of mosquitoes. The other cities on the list include Miami, New York, Detroit, Houston, Raleigh/Durham, and Dallas-Ft. Worth.
