MUSEUM PARTY: Phillips After 5 makes a stop in Italy tonight with Viva Italia!, celebrating the country’s culture “through art, music, language, and food.” The night includes live music from Project Natale, a short beginner’s Italian language lesson, and a gallery talk on art that features Italy. 5:00-8:30 p.m. $12.

COCKTAILS: Happy 67th birthday, Willard Hotel! As we mentioned earlier this week, the Round Robin bar at The Willard hotel will be offering Mint Juleps at 1946 prices. So come out tonight at 7:46 p.m. (19:46 in military time) for a $2 drink.

PHOTOGRAPHY: National Geographic Live’s (1600 M Street NW) Masters of Photography 3-Part Speaker Series continues tonight with Face to Face: Portraits of the Human Spirit, featuring the work of photographer Alison Wright, who has captured “portraits of individuals from the plateau of Tibet to the continent of Africa.” 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $22.

BEER: Chris O’Brien, author of Fermenting Revolution: How to Drink Beer and Save the World, leads a Seasonal Beear and Bread Tasting at Sixth and I Historic Synagogue (600 I Street NW) this evening.
