It is a fact that Californians are more laid back the us East Coasters, and the Allah-Las help prove that point. The four-piece is influenced heavily by both Nuggets and the beach, creating super-chill indie-rock not unlike Real Estate. Their self-titled debut album was released late last year, and tomorrow night they are playing the Black Cat with The Black Angles. Today’s song of the day is an instrumental jam from the record “Sacred Sands.” The track is perfect for catching a wave or a bonfire at night.
The Allah-Las play Saturday without the The Black Angels and Elephant Stone. Tickets are $20.
