A fight inside a Chipotle on 14th Street NW in Columbia Heights ended in a stabbing this evening, leaving a man injured and bleeding profusely outside the restaurant just before 7 p.m. According to witnesses at the scene, the fight started over a place in line; a suspect later detained by police allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times on the side of his torso. Blood stained the sidewalk and police closed off 14th Street after the incident. We’ll have more details on the man’s condition as they become available.
