Tickets for a Bruce Springsteen show. Cupcakes. A hot new restaurant. The newest Apple product. A new Nordstrom Rack. Wait, what? Yep, it’s something people will stand in line for.

A long line of people appeared outside a new Nordstrom Rack this morning at 18th and L Streets NW for the store’s grand opening. According to tweets from people down there, a woman got to the new location at 5:30 a.m., more than three hours before the store was scheduled to open.

We’re certainly not fashion mavens, but the first D.C. Nordstrom Rack outside of Friendship Heights must be a thing, huh?
