A former D.C. teacher who landed on the FBI’s 10 most-wanted list after being accused of producing child pornography has been caught, reports the Examiner. Eric Justin Toth was found in Nicaragua after five years on the run from U.S. authorities:

The former third-grade teacher at the Beauvoir Elementary School at the Washington National Cathedral was captured in Nicaragua over the weekend. Toth had been on the lam for nearly five years after he was suspected of producing child pornography.

Authorities began investigating Toth in June 2008 after pornographic images of young boys were found on a school camera the third-grade teacher was using.

An indictment filed in federal court in Maryland alleges that he enticed a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct to produce child pornography.

Toth, 31, was last seen in Arizona in 2009 using the name David Bussone. He is also believed to have traveled to Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota, according to the FBI.

Toth will be extradited back to the U.S., where he will face charges stemming from the D.C. case. He is also accused of producing child pornography in Maryland.
