Fu Manchu is a California hardcore band that started making heavy music in the ’80s like their peers, Black Flag. The band started as Virulence but in 1990 changed their name to Fu Manchu and kept on trucking. Tonight the band looks back in their discography to play one of their best known records, The Action Is Go. Today’s Song of the Day, “Evil Eye,” is the first track off the record. Many may recognize the song from the soundtrack to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, or else remember the video which got a lot of airtime on MTV.
