Lost in the Trees is an orchestral rock band from Chapel Hill, NC. Led by songwriter Ari Picker, the five-piece blends styles like Arcade Fire and Neutral Milk Hotel. Tonight the band is playing Rock and Roll Hotel supporting their record A Church That Fits Our Needs released last year in ANTI-Records. Today’s song of the day “Red” is a highlight from the album, with loads of strings and skittering drums. Picker’s falsetto blends nicely with Emma Nadeau’s to form a pleasing sound.
