The sidewalks in front of the White House were reopened to pedestrians this morning, CBS White House Correspondent Peter Maer tweeted. Access to the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue were closed off to cyclists and pedestrians after last week’s Boston Marathon bombings; officials cited an “abundance of caution” for the move.
