Orange Line trains were delayed for 12 minutes earlier this afternoon when a man climbed down to the tracks at the Courthouse station in Arlington. The man’s action appears to have been an intentional attempt to harm himself, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says.

The man was reported on the tracks shortly after 3 p.m. He was taken off the tracks safely and transported to a hospital for psychological examination.
