The Rolling Stones will close out their 50th anniversary tour at the Verizon Center on June 24, the band announced today. The nearly septuagenarian rockers, who kicked off their “50 and Counting Tour” last week in Los Angeles, say they will wrap it up in D.C., and tickets—well, most tickets, that is—go on sale next Monday.

But tickets to the Stones’ current greatest-hits tour won’t come easy. Many tickets will be sold on Friday, but only to holders of credit cards issued by Citi. The remainder go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through the band’s website. A press release announcing the show states only that that “there are variety of ticket prices,” though the only price advertised specifically is $85, the level for about 1,000 tickets that will be distributed throughout the 20,000-seat Verizon Center. However, the $85 tickets come only in pairs, though some might be located in the so-called “Tongue Pit” close to the stage.

The Rolling Stones released their latest compilation, GRRR!, last November. Set lists on the tour so far have been mostly classics, plus a pair of new tracks, “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot,” that were recorded for the greatest hits album.

One more thing: The concert’s date is technically tentative, because depending on how the Washington Capitals fare in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they could very well be playing in the finals come June 24.
