Come hear talks on cocktails, astronauts, garden gnomes, honey badgers, and more at the Spring has Sprung show. Speakers include Jon Arroyo (Chief Mixologist at Founding Farmers), Tim Bailey (CFO of Yuri’s Night), SM Shrake (Founder of Story League), Kathryn Verona, and Darcy Gentleman (thirst. Director of Speaker Preparation). Doors 6 p.m., talks start at 7 p.m. $20 online, $25 at the door.

COMEDY: Aries Spears, of MADtv and Def Comedy Jame, performs standup comedy at DC Improv (1140 Connecticut Avenue NW) tonight through Sunday. 8 p.m. $20.

MOVIE: Launch Into Darkness with the revamped Star Trek crew on the Smithsonian’s IMAX screen at the Airbus IMAX Theater (Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, 14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway, Chantilly, VA) tonight. If you don’t want to make the trek to Chantilly this evening, the movie will be screening there through June 13. Showings at 6:15 p.m., 8:55 p.m., and 11:45 p.m. $13.50-$15.
