A cast member from the probably fake, thankfully less popular Breaking Amish spinoff Breaking Amish: Brave New World was not impressed by the White House during a visit to Washington shown on an episode that aired Sunday night.

“It’s like a dollhouse,” cast member Sabrina said. “I expected a palace.”

She continued, “Really? The President of the United States lives in that? Like, I’ve seen Amish houses that are bigger.”

To be fair, a few people who have reviewed the White House on Yelp (yes, that’s a thing) agree that they too expected the executive residence to be bigger.

Another cast member claimed to not know the identity of the man sitting in the big chair at the Lincoln Memorial, but it’s hard to believe anything that happens on the show.

When Breaking Amish premiered, TLC said the cast members were brand new to the “English” world. So new, in fact, that one cast member guessed a microwave was some sort of “cooking machine.” But in reality most of them had been living the secular life for enough time to get DUIs, modeling photos, and divorces.

Actual Amish people do visit Washington, D.C. as tourists. But due to the whole being Amish thing, their thoughts on the city’s landmarks aren’t on the TV airwaves or Internet.
