D.C. United got its first point in over two months on Sunday evening, a 1-1 draw against Eastern Conference rivals Sporting KC. While the single point doesn’t exactly vault United into playoff position, it could prove to be a valuable step in the right direction.
On this weeks episode of “Open Wide for Some Soccer,” Seth Vertelney of Goal.com, Thomas Floyd of The Washington Times, and I analyze United’s performance. We also talk a bit of U.S. men’s national team, as the squad prepares for its upcoming series of friendlies and World Cup qualifying matches.
Sit back, relax, and open wide for some soccer.
