>> Indie rapper Aesop Rock and indie rocker Kimya Dawson have formed The Uncluded and are taking their show on the road with a D.C. stop at 9:30 Club. 7 p.m. Tickets $20

Wednesday:
>> Two of the area’s most popular bands, Black Alley and Be’La Dona, take to the Howard Theatre‘s stage for a night of D.C.-based funk. 8 p.m. Tickets $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

>> Last week, the Detroit-raised, D.C.-based musician/producer Lorenzo “Zo!” Ferguson released his second full-length album of original material, ManMade, to critical acclaim. To celebrate, he’ll be hosting a release party at Liv where he’ll be joined with collaborators Ab, Sy Smith and Debórah Bond. 9 p.m. Tickets $10 in advance.

Thursday:
The film FunkJazz Kafé: Diary Of A Decade documents the R&B and soul movement of the 1990s as it took place in Atlanta through a venerable concert outlet. The viewing will take place at the Howard Theatre along with a question-and-answer session led by Wes Felton. 7:30 p.m. Tickets $15.

Friday:
>> Debórah Bond has grown beyond being noted as a locally-based singer, having worked with the likes of the Foreign Exchange and Reel People. She’ll be at the Howard Theatre with Baltimore’s own Navasha Daya. 8 p.m. Tickets $17.50 in advance, $22.50 at the door.

>> “Summit” returns to Tropicalia where DJs Sam “The Man” Burns, Jahsonic and Underdog take turns spinning a mix of soulful house and electronic music. Additionally, it’s a celebration of both Sam and the iconic Grace Jones’ birthdays. 10 p.m. Prices to be determined.

Saturday:
>> The “Reminisce” party with DJ Quartermaine celebrates hip-hop and R&B from the 1990s with its “’93 ’til Infinity” theme at Liv. 9:30 p.m. Free with RSVP.
