Kelly Rowland, the second most famous member of Destiny’s Child (sorry, Michelle), got rather emotional while singing a tune about her issues with Beyoncé at the Fillmore Silver Spring this weekend.

During a performance of “Dirty Laundry,” which details living in Queen Bey’s shadow, Rowland had to stop for about 30 seconds to regain her composure. The crowd cheered “Kelly! Kelly! Kelly!” to encourage the sad singer to continue, which she eventually did.

According to Post music contributor Sarah Godfrey, Rowland said before the performance, “Doing this song for me was so therapeutic. … Honesty, like my mama always says, is always the best policy.” Lyrics of the revealing song include:

While my sister was on stage, killing it like a motherfucker/
I was enraged, feeling it like a motherfucker/
Bird in a cage, you would never know what I was dealing with/
Went out separate ways, but I was happy she was killing it/
Bittersweet, she was up, I was down/
No lie, I feel good for her, but what do I do now?

One may think that Rowland’s problems with Bey caused the pause. But as Godfrey points out, Rowland broke down after singing the verse about a physically and emotionally abusive relationship.

The breakdown begins at 4:19 in the video below.
