ARTISTS GET-TOGETHER: Woolly Mammoth Theatre (641 D Street NW) is hosting an Artists Mixer this evening, offering a chance for local artists (who work across a variety of mediums) to discuss “the challenges of creating art in our current environment.” The conversation will be led by Aaron Posner, playwright of Stupid Fucking Bird, an adaptation of Chekhov’s The Seagull, playing at the Woolly Mammoth currently. 6 p.m. $20.
