>> It’s been 20 years since Queens-based hip-hoppers Havoc and Prodigy formed Mobb Deep and put out their debut release, Juvenile Hell. They’ve gone on to have a number of other albums, including the classic 1995 project, The Infamous. After a great deal of strife, the two have mended fences and will bring their anniversary tour to the Howard Theatre. 8 p.m. Tickets $25-$65.

>> Legendary producer and DJ Tony Humphries returns to D.C. for a set as a part of “Red Fridays” at U Street Music Hall. He’ll be joined by DJ Sam “The Man” Burns. 10 p.m. Free before midnight, $10 after midnight.

>> Even though he was the less famous half of the duo, DJ Jazzy Jeff has made a solid musical career for himself, having helped build the careers of soul stars like Jill Scott and Floetry. Tonight, he’ll be hosting and DJing “Summertime: The Party” at the Howard Theatre. 9 p.m. $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

>> With her husband, basketball star, and Reston native Grant Hill, announcing he was retiring from the NBA this past weekend, someone in the household has to work. >> In the 1990s, Tricky represented the sound of trip-hop. The U.K. rapper is stateside where he’ll be at the 9:30 Club. 10 p.m. Tickets $25
