Kanye West will promote his forthcoming album, the not-at-all-subtle Yeezus across D.C. tonight. West has been promoting the album, due out June 18 on GOOD Music, by presenting a music video projected on to exterior walls of buildings in major cities around the world. (Though not in Baltimore, where three shows scheduled for the evening of May 26 were canceled by city officials who said West’s people lacked the proper permits.)
And tonight, after hopping around the rest of the world for three weeks, the show finally comes to D.C. Beginning at 9:30 p.m., according to a map published on West’s website (and recreated below), the projection will screen in eight locations across the city.
So if you don’t have anything better to do tonight, you can see Kanye West’s giant head projected against the sides of buildings at the following locations:
- 9:30 p.m.: W and 14th streets NW
- 9:30 p.m.: Columbia Road and Calvert Street NW (Editor’s note: The intersection listed by West’s website does not actually exist. Best approximation, judging from the original map, is the intersection of Columbia and Adams Mill roads.)
- 10:30 p.m.: U and 10th streets NW
- 10:30 p.m.: 1534 P Street NW
- 11:30 p.m.: 48 H Street NW
- 11:30 p.m.: 923 13th Street NW
- 12:30 a.m.: Grace Street and Wisconsin Avenue NW
- 12:30 a.m.: V and 14th streets NE
