Remember when Avatar and Titanic director James Cameron built that nifty one-man submarine and piloted it to the depths of the ocean last year?
Well, now Cameron and his specially built submarine, dubbed The Deepsea Challenger, are currently touring the country before the vessel reaches its final resting spot at the Oceanic Institution in Massachusetts, and they’re stopping in D.C. tomorrow. Cameron, his cool-ass submarine, and members of the Deepsea Challenger’s expedition will be at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. tomorrow to talk about their expedition and share what they learned from traveling to the bottom of the Challenger Deep, the deepest known point on Earth.
Cameron’s key remarks will be from 1 p.m. 1:30 p.m., so you can bug him about when Avatar 2 is coming out then.
