Photo from Amazon. As a small amount of Virginia Democrats head to the polls to select their candidate for lieutenant governor and attorney general today, Buzzfeed has discovered a rather big typo on the cover of a book self-published by that state’s Republican candidate for lieutenant governor.
The cover of “Ten Commandments to an Extraordinary Life,” written by pastor E.W. Jackson, is missing an “M” from the word “Commandment.” This is not just a problem on Amazon. Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczynski has a physical copy of the book, which also is suffering from the misspelling.
The book was published in 2008 by Exodus Faith Ministries, Jackson’s church. An image of the typo-tastic cover is displayed on Exodus’ Web site.
Jackson was selected to be current Virginia attorney general Ken Cuccinelli’s running mate in May. He has since been called a “distraction,” thanks to the times he compared Planned Parenthood to the KKK, called LGBT people “very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally” and said yoga opens the soul up to Satan. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus dismissed this in an interview with radio station WMAL, calling Jackson a “pretty dynamic guy.”
As mentioned previously, Virginia Democrats are voting today for the people who will share the ticket with candidate for governor, Terry McAuliffe. Low turnout is expected.
