Here’s a Vine released by the White House today showing Cookie Monster being a little bit creepy while hanging outside the president’s residence. No, the Muppet is not in town just to supply your future nightmares. He’s here on official business.
“Sesame Street” head writer Joey Mazzarino moderated a panel at 1600 Penn. today “on the issues facing kids of incarcerated parents,” according to the PBS show’s Twitter account. The show recently launched a new initiative called “Little Children, Big Challenges: Incarceration,” which provides resources to children between the ages of three and eight while their parents serve prison sentences.
It was announced at the panel that “Sesame Street” will introduce a character with an incarcerated parent on the show.
Can someone lock Cookie Monster up for haunting my dreams?
