It’s not every day you see Seat Pleasant, Md. in a national TV commercial.

During the broadcast of yesterday’s NBA Draft, in which the Wizards picked Georgetown forward Otto Porter Jr. and traded for Georgia Tech guard Glen Rice Jr., Nike debuted a funny commercial featuring Seat Pleasant native (and 4-time NBA All-Star) Kevin Durant’s new shoe line.

Durant was born in D.C. but grew up in the Prince George’s County burg located just across the Maryland line, and attended a few area high schools, graduating from Montrose Christian School in Rockville. The Nike spot takes place in a Seat Pleasant recreation center and features actual NBA commentators, National Basketball Hall of Fame member George Gervin, and some cute kids in a band. Check it out.

So, where can we buy one of those hats like the one Durant dons?
