Earlier this week, it was revealed that the word “Virginia” was misspelled on diplomas given out by Radford University to almost 1,500 graduates. But apparently the diploma errors do not end there.

A Radford graduate told the Richmond Times-Dispatch a word from his major, information science and systems, was not spelled correctly on his diploma. “Systems” is spelled “systams” on the certificate, which the graduate received in July 2012. Virginia is spelled correctly.

There’s more bad news: the recent diplomas with the word “Virginia” misspelled on them also are missing the second “e” in the word “thereto.”

A representative from Radford previously said new software and a typing error caused “Virginia” and “thereto” to be misspelled. When asked by the Times-Dispatch why “systems” was an “e” short, a Radford rep. declined to speculate about what happened.

Now everyone go home and look for embarrassing errors on your own diplomas.
