POETRY: Busboys and Poets (2021 14th Street NW) welcomes “a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, [and] musicians” for Open Mic Poetry tonight. 9 to 11 p.m. $5.

BEER: ChurchKey (1137 14th Street Northwest) is the site of the Duvel Tripel Hop 2013 (Sorachi Ace) Release Party this evening, serving up the new brew and giving away Duvel glassware. 6 p.m. Free admission, beers priced individually.
