To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, José Andrés’ Minibar will give away a free dinner for two, providing those of us who regularly dine on Saltines perhaps the only opportunity we’ll ever get to eat there.

As Eater first reported, the exclusive Penn Quarter den of molecular gastronomy will open its doors to the unwashed masses on Monday, July 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A special cocktail and the restaurant’s “Philly Cheesesteak,” which is actually a cheese-stuffed piece of bread draped in a slice of beef, will be served. The free dinner for two, as well as other prizes, will be given away then.

Minibar recently announced it would offer a $3,000 dinner for up to six in a private dining room, away from all the plebians paying $225 a head. Make sure to look extra sad when you enter to win the free food.
