An ice cream truck with two people inside was carjacked, or ice-cream-truck-jacked, last night in Southeast D.C.
A Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman said the white box truck was seized around 10:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Cedar Street SE, near the Frederick Douglass Historic Site.
The truck, which had Maryland plates, was recovered about a block away. Money was taken.
The suspect is described a black male wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and a black mask, according to the police. He had a black handgun.
