A 12-year-old girl from Northeast D.C. has been missing since July 11, according to an alert from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Rickia Hart was last seen in the 300 block of 54th Street NE yesterday. Hart, who was wearing a white shirt and blue shorts when she went missing, is black, four-feet-11-inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds.

Hart’s disappearance comes less than a week after seven-year-old Michael Kingsbury went missing from his home on West Virginia Avenue NE. The boy, who had autism spectrum disorder, was found dead 30 hours later in a car parked in the alley near the house. His death is currently under investigation, as the community continues to question the police response to his disappearance.
