Good news, vegans in the Washington area: There are now two more places where you can get your dairy-free milkshake fix.

Sticky Fingers, the well-known Columbia Heights vegan bakery, is now offering vegan milkshakes and doughnuts, although the latter will only be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Milkshake varieties include vanilla, chocolate, espresso and creamsicle, while the doughnuts will be either Boston cream, raspberry filled, lemon filled, glazed or blueberry filled.

In a bit more surprising turn, the Silver Diner chain is now serving up a chocolate raspberry vegan milkshake, as well as other vegan dining options. As the Post reported, Silver Diner is now offering nine new vegan dishes, including a warm roasted veggie salad. The diner’s menu is now about 10 percent vegan, the chain’s executive chef told the Post.

The Silver Diner closest to Washington, D.C. is located on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Va.
