Sara Armour and Adam Friedland host the event, and three Story League Superfans will act as judges and pick the best story of the evening (winning the storyteller $100). Line forms at 8:30 p.m., doors open at 8:45 p.m., the storytelling takes place from 9 to 11 p.m. Tickets: $10.
OUTDOOR MOVIES: The U Street Movie Series presents The Nine Lives of Marion Barry on an outdoor screen (Harrison Field, V Street NW between 13th and 14th streets) tonight. Gates open at 7:00 p.m., movie starts when the sun sets. Free.
