Thousands of fans of the Washington football team flocked to Richmond yesterday for the first day of training camp, but it was not a swell time for all. And this has nothing to do with the announcement that Robert Griffin III and his right knee will be sitting out preseason games.

For one fan, who says she arrived at the new Richmond training facility at 6:30 a.m., the day went horribly wrong. She didn’t even get an autograph, and in her misery, took to YouTube to warn other fans of the Washington football team that pre-season jaunts to Richmond aren’t worth the effort.

“I took off work for this and everything,” says the woman, who recorded the video about noon yesterday and posted it under the name Kimberly Lewis. Apparently, Lewis’ day at training camp featured no players walking over to her side of the field, even though she was standing in front and didn’t even care which player inked her autograph book.

“Do not come to the [Washington football team] training camp,” Lewis, who took off work and everything, sobs. “I repeat, do not come to the [Washington football team] training camp. It is a waste of time. I can’t believe that the [Washington football team] would do their fans like this.”

No, it’s shocking the Washington football team would behave like this. It’s not as though the organization has ever irked its supporters into cranky fandom.
