Bad news: Sharknado lives and is coming to a theater near you.

The SyFy movie Twitter heaped attention on but barely anyone watched will play in select Regal, Edwards, and UA Cinemas around the country at midnight on Friday, August 2. This includes a few locations in Northern Virginia and Maryland that aren’t too far from D.C. The city’s Regal Cinema in Gallery Place was spared.

DCist would never insult you by implying you’d want to see Sharknado on the big screen, especially when you can check it out through cable rental (or other less legal means). But just in case, here’s a list of the theaters near D.C. that will show the “film.”
