Check this out: A nifty, custom-made Paul Reed Smith guitar, signed by every member of the 2012-2013 Washington Capitals, is up for auction on eBay.
Capitals Outsider reports that the guitar is being sold through a charity auction stemming from the fourth annual Leap Towards a Cure Hockey Tournament and Festival, which took place on August 3 in Laurel, Md. All proceeds will benefit the Andrea Henderson Memorial Fund, which helps fight breast cancer at the Kimmel Center at Johns Hopkins.
The custom-made, white-bodied axe has the Capitals emblem painted on the body, where the rest of it is signed by each member of the team, including:
- Wojtek Wolski
- Matt Hendricks
- Tom Poti
- John Carlson
- Joel Ward
- Braden Holtby
- Karl Alzner
- Nicklas Backstrom
- Aaron Volpatti
- Mike Green
- Cameron Schilling
- Tomas Kundratek
- Steve Oleksy
- Alex Ovechkin
- Mathieu Perreault
- Jeff Schultz
- Jason Chimera
- Eric Fehr
- Joey Crabb
- Troy Brouwer
- John Erskine
- Brooks Laich

At the time of writing, the auction is currently at $1,025 and has 3 days and 16 hours left. Not such a bad price for this unique piece of Capitals memorabilia (the guitar is one of two that exists). So act fast and own this neat guitar celebrating one of D.C.’s most winningest teams (at least in the past few years).
