QUESTION & ANSWER: Ask Roulette, a live conversation series where panelists ask each other questions in front of an audience, comes to Politics and Prose (5015 Connecticut Avenue NW) tonight. BEER: Help 3 Stars Brewery celebrate its first birthday at ChurchKey (1337 14th Street NW). The event will feature 20 types of their beer, including imperial porter Coffee Pandemic, which uses local Qualia coffee, peppercorn saison Harvester of Sorrow and pandemic porter Born Sinner. 5-11 p.m. Free.
SATURDAY:
SPACE: Make a trip out to Sky Meadows State Park (11012 Edmonds Lane, Delaplane Va.) this Saturday to gaze into outerspace at a Star Party. Air and Space Museum astronomer Sean O’Brien teams up with amateur astronomers to set up high-power telescopes for the public to view through. There will also be presentations for kids, a talk by a Jet Propulsion Laboratory Solar System Ambassador, and a night sky orientation. 7:30-10:30 p.m. The event is free, but parking is $5. —Elisabeth Grant
CLOTHING OPTIONAL: SlutWalkDC will take to the streets to protest sexual assault victim-blaming. Marchers will meet at the African American Civil War Memorial (1925 Vermont Avenue NW) and walk to Meridian Hill Park (2400 15th Street NW). 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
MUSIC: El-P and Killer Mike produced two of the finest hip-hop records of 2012 in Cancer For Cure and R.A.P. Music. So when they announced their free, collaborative effort this year under the psuedonymn Run The Jewels, one would have expected nothing more than a victory lap. But instead of phoning it in, they made arguably the best rap album of the 2013. They’ll be sharing the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW) stage with Das Racist ex-pat Kool A.D. 8 p.m. $20. —Andy Hess
PUPPETS: Have you ever wanted to make an Indonesian shadow puppet? Do you want to now? Great! Because the Textile Museum (2320 S Street NW) is inviting families (and adults who love shadow puppets) to come assemble their own character and write a story to go along with it. 2-4 p.m. Free.

BREAK BAD: Jack Rose Dining Saloon (2007 18th Street NW) and WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey will host a Breaking Bad watch party. The event will feature a Walter White cocktail (made with Blue Sky?), trivia and a whiskey tasting table. 6-9 p.m. Free.
