Baltimore duo Ed Schrader’s Music Beat make straightforward garage rock and always bring the party. The group started as Schrader’s solo project but with the addition of Devin Rice, the group recorded last year’s Jazz Mind.

Tonight Ed Schrader plays as part of the Rock and Roll Hotel‘s seventh anniversary concerts, opening tonight with California hardcore punks Ceremony. “Radio Eyes” is a non-album single featured on the Sub Pop 1000 Record Store Day compilation celebrating the label’s Silver Jubilee. The short track is a blast of punk energy, with Schrader’s vocals and floor tom working in full force.

Ed Schrader’s Music Beat play tonight with Ceremony, Give, and Barge at the Rock and Roll Hotel. Tickets are $12.
