They came dressed in neon, ripped stockings, and covered from head-to-toe in glitter to experience a Wolf Trap show unlike most others. The venue rarely hosts pop artists, especially those as popular as Ke$ha.

Ke$ha’s currently circling the globe on her second headline tour in support her 2012 album Warrior. Traveling with her is New York rock band Semi Precious Weapons and singer-songwriter Mike Posner. When the house lights went down for the last time, the crowd leapt from their seats and erupted in banshee-esque shrieks and screams. Ke$ha stepped on stage surrounded by dancers to belt out some of the biggest pop hits of the past few years.

Right from the get go, the crowd was hypnotized by “Warrior,” energized by “Crazy Kids,” and went wild for “We R Who We R.” Other crowd favorites like “Tik Tok,” “Your Love is My Drug,” and “Animal” saturated her set list. And if her fans hadn’t already been blown away, she finally closed the night with her inescapable , “Die Young.”
