Wild Cub are an aptly named five-piece band from Nashville. Mixing the tropical beats of Tanlines, a tinge of New Order and angular guitars of Foals, the band makes peppy pop songs. Wild Cub released their debut album Youth last year, but have moved on with a recently released single “Blacktide.” The track has a Power, Corruption & Lies vibe, with atmospheric vocals and is a perfect party cut.
