Shut down the Internet: The White House made a Mean Girls joke on Twitter this morning.

The White House tweeted out a picture of presidential pooch Bo Obama carrying a tennis ball in his mouth with the text, “Bo, stop trying to make fetch happen.” This is, obviously, a play on a quote from the 2004 Lindsay Lohan film Mean Girls. In the movie, Gretchen Weiner is told by Regina George to stop trying to make that word an acceptable substitution for the word cool.

Clearly, the Internet is enjoying this joke, as the tweet has been retweeted over 2,500 times in under thirty minutes.
