Check this out: D.C. via Ethiopia rapper Ras Nebyu just put out this new music video for his single “Futuristic Black Man,” the first track off of his Babylon’s Most Wanted mixtape.

The video features Ras front and center in a Washington Slizzards shirt (featuring the District emblem, except with pot leafs instead of stars, natch), rapping in Rock Creek Park, juxtaposed with cuts of iconic shots of downtown Washington.

The chilled-out, rasta-infused jam has Ras rapping about life in the District, with some nice shots at the wonky side of Washington. My favorite line: “Motherfuckin’ politician / I was born and raised in the city / You are not the District/ You are not the District.” Nice.
