BEER & BASEBALL: The Nationals are taking part in D.C. Beer Week with Beers, Burgers & Baseball: A Celebration of D.C. Beer Week at Nationals Park. This event includes a ticket to the game against the Giants, a post-game party with a band and two-hour tasting event, and a Shake Shack burger with fries. 4:05 p.m. $55.

MOVIE: Watch Airplane! poolside at Capitol Skyline Hotel (10 I Street SW) this evening, a Dive-in Movie event from Sixth and I Historic Synagogue. 7:30 p.m. $10 (includes admission and one drink).

MUSIC: Daughn Gibson‘s voice booms and croaks over his music. A near parody of classic voices like Cash and Orbison, Gibson’s aw shucks charm of his debut All Hell landed him on plenty of 2012 year-end lists. Less than a year later, he’s back with another album and a full band behind him as he takes the stage at the Black Cat. Hiss Golden Messenger will open the show. $15, 8 p.m. – Andy Hess
