While the TV cameras may have been focused on the famous speakers at today’s March on Washington anniversary event, the crowd of thousands at the Realize the Dream March and Rally was a vibrant display of people from all walks of life.

DCist will have a post tomorrow with interviews from members of the crowd. Today, enjoy some photos of the scene, as well as video of some marchers singing “We Shall Overcome” …

… and others chanting “What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now!” in honor of Trayvon Martin.
