THEATER: Flying V Theatre turns 37 Craigslist posts into a performance, through “puppets, punches, ukuleles, and a bedazzled loin cloth” in their The Best of Craigslist production on the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, in the Theatre Lab (2700 F Street NW). 6 p.m. Free.

FOOD & DRINK: Two events are taking place this evening as part of the American Cancer Society’s Fit For Hope challenge. Victor Albisu and Will Artley are serving up a Battle of the Bulges 5-Course Dueling Summer Menu at Pizzeria Orso (7 p.m., $80, including wine) and Derek Brown and Todd Thrasher are mixing up special cocktails at the Shake It Off Party at The Passenger (5-9 p.m.).

MOVIE: World War Z (7:25 p.m.) and The Great Gatsby are tonight’s $2 movies at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse (2903 Columbia Pike, Arlington Va.).
