Hey, people who drive in D.C.: A big insurance company says you get into a lot of accidents. Is everything OK?
As WAMU reported, Allstate Insurance Company released its ninth annual Best Drivers Report today and D.C. motorists did not do well. Not even a little tiny bit.
The city came in dead last, with the report claiming that drivers in D.C. will experience an accident every 4.8 years. That’s 109.3 percent more than the national average.
“The report analyzes cities from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Estimates of the Population for Incorporated Places over 50,000, ranked as of July 1, 2012,” the report says, adding that cities in Massachusetts are excluded.
This is the sixth year D.C. has come in last on the list, which is dumb anyways.
