Police in Montgomery County are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Kensington, Md. woman.

Hannah Emily Upp, 28, was last seen yesterday morning near near Kemp Mill Road and Glenallan Avenue in Wheaton, Md., according to Montgomery County police.

She is described as a white female, 5’7″ tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Ms. Upp was last seen wearing a black shirt and brown pants.

According to police, Upp’s family is concerned for her “welfare and her mental well being.” She has previously gone missing and, when found, required medical attention.

Anyone with information regarding UPP should contact 4th District detectives at 240-773-5530, or the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.

Update: As NBC4 pointed out, Upp suffers from dissociative fugue, a rare form of amnesia. In 2009, she was found face down in the Hudson River “about a mile southwest of the southern tip of Manhattan” after being missing for over two weeks, the New York Times reported.
