Interested in visiting the National Harbor in Maryland, but lack of car holding you back? Why not get there via water taxi?

As the Washington Business Journal reported, the Potomac Riverboat Company is now offering trips from the National Mall and Georgetown to the National Harbor from Tuesday through Sunday. Just climb aboard the Miss Sophie, which has room for 49 sea-worthy passengers.

Service will be offered from the Commercial Pier at National Harbor, adjacent to McCormick and Schmick’s Restaurant. Departure times are: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.

You have a choice of two destinations: the National Mall at the heart of the Nation’s Capital, docking at West Basin & Ohio Drives, SW, and Washington Harbour in Georgetown, at 31st & K Street, NW, both in Washington, DC.

Tickets are $30 roundtrip for adults. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
