Some tragic news to kick off your weekend: A bicyclist was struck and killed outside of Hylton High School in Woodridge, Va. earlier this afternoon.

NBC4 reports that the bicyclist was allegedly struck by a teenager driving a pickup truck. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

DCist reached out to the Prince William Police Department for more information, but a request for comment has not yet been returned.

The crash occurred at the 1400 block of Spriggs Road, which remains closed as police investigate.
