It’s only the season opener, but there’s still a lot at stake in tonight’s Washington football team game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Well, there’s only a lot at stake if you’re the D.C. or Philadelphia Olympics bid exploratory committee. And by “a lot,” we mean “not much.”

As first reported by the Post, looks like the two organizations have placed a friendly little wager for tonight’s game.

Might we suggest upping the ante a bit? Say loser has to drop their bid for the 2024 Olympics?
