The MPD spokesperson told DCist that the pedestrian was struck by a four-door white vehicle, but no other details could be given out.
That intersection is well-known for its dangers to pedestrians. Earlier this year, a woman was struck by a dump truck at the same intersection. She died a month later.
We’ll update when we learn more.
