Hey guys, remember cronuts? That pastry that New York has and D.C. tried to fake with doissants but then everyone forgot about? Well, apparently not everyone.

As Frozen Tropics first pointed out, Batter Bowl Bakery will be selling their version of a cronut Saturday during the H Street festival. From their Facebook page.

Chef Dominique Ansel’s Cronut- half croissant, half doughnut is taking the world by storm. So we made our version…and it will be available only during the H Street Festival on September 21st
But wait …you can avoid the line and pre-order at the bakery.

Each fake cronut will cost $3, according to the bakery. If that interests you, Batter Bowl, which is owned by the same folks behind Ethiopic, is located at 403 H Street NE and open until 8 p.m. today.
